The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that today at 10:00 experts from Pridnestrovie and Moldova held a meeting on energy issues at the OSCE Mission office in Bendery.
This fact completely invalidates the irresponsible statements and empty arguments of O. Serebrian, who deliberately avoided the meeting of political representatives in Bendery under a fabricated pretext.
The aggressive remarks made by the Moldovan official in recent days indicate his intent to disrupt the normal interaction between the political representatives of the parties.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that throughout the current week, under the mediation of the OSCE Mission, efforts were made to facilitate the meeting of political representatives of the sides to discuss measures for overcoming the energy crisis and providing humanitarian support.
Under various pretexts, the political representative of the Republic of Moldova first waived the traditional in-person meeting format, and then ultimately disrupted the session by rejecting the OSCE Mission’s written proposal to hold it at the Bendery office.

The repetitive nature of these declarations indicates an attempt to manipulate public opinion through the dissemination of false information.

In recent days, there has been widespread dissemination of claims about the Moldovan government’s alleged “readiness” to assist its citizens in Pridnestrovie, as well as supposed proposals to establish a “dialogue mechanism”, and so on.

The long-standing international negotiation process conceptually represents a string of direct and systematic addresses from Pridnestrovie to Moldova, urging it to cease the application of discriminatory and restrictive measures, to abandon socio-economic pressure, and to stop violations of the rights and freedoms of the Pridnestrovians.
